Largest Buddhist Temple in Malaysia

Hi All,

Visit the largest Buddhist temple in Malaysia, Kek Lok Si at

http://temple.50webs.com

The temple features Goddess of Mercy (Kuan Yin), pagodas and others.

Thanks.

Hi All,

I found a cheap travelling package to visit the beautiful temple at one of the advertisements in the final page of the web site. Check it out yourself if you are intending to visit Penang, the Pearl of the Orient :)

Thanks.

This is actually more of a Chinese temple. Nothing much to see.

Far less attractive than any other Buddhist Temple in Thailand.

Indeed, Chinese temples with Kuan Yin (Chinese goddess of mercy) and golden Buddhist temples with the image of Buddha are very different indeed. Quite frankly, I find the latter far more interesting.

Although I do love those colorful incense coils hanging from the ceiling in Hong Kong temples-quite atmospheric-have taken lots of pictures of those.

Klyau is obviously a travel agent advertising for Penang...
