i was there several years ago and enjoyed the hotel... monkeys roam the property so do not leave anything unattended....you will also hear them on your roof..

Langkawi is an international beach resort, so there isn't a lot of local sights or culture to experience.

I think Bob is referring to the Sheraton Perdana, which is no longer a Sheraton. Firefly, a subsidiary of Malaysian Airlines, also flies to Langkawi.

i am referring to the sheraton langkawi, which according to their website still exists as a sheraton
