Langkawi Fake Shopping
 

Does anyone know specifically where one can buy fake T shirts etc. in Langkawi. I believe they're available in Kuah town but as I am disabled and unable to walk too far I need to know the precise area or name of shopping mall, please.

Kuah is quite tiny. As I recall there is only really one modern mall (this was 4 years ago though). There was a shop selling fake T -shirts in there.

There was also a small mall near the Marina, which has a shop that purports to sell genuine merchandise (at good but not cheap prices)- But I suspect the Burberry was not genuine.

Caveat Emptor!

I was in Langkawi last December 2003. Kuah town is very small and very unsuitable for a disabled person as the pavement kerbs are very high in places and the pavements themselves are not kept. The best shopping center is close to the Marina - you can't miss it - it has a huge Mc D's there. There are a few shops in there selling fake t-shirts and handbags. Hope this helps.
