Going to be there for a week late May with college grad daughter. Would love some recs. Looking at tempura kitenya, kyo chabana, teppanya tavern tenamonya. thanks all

There are 2 places that we loved that were recommended by our hotel:
1) Matsumoto Sakaba

2) Maruhiro - we had a fabulous grilled meat dinner

They are both small and intimate restaurants where we sat at the counter. The food, in both places was delicious, and the overall experiences were wonderful.
