Krabi to Bangkok
 

We will be in Krabi for the last three days of our vacation. Our flight out of Bangkok is at about 11pm. Do we need to fly back to Bangkok the night before to ensure we make our flight home, or will we be okay with a flight from Krabi to Bangkok on the day of? Any advice greatly appreciated!

You should be fine with a flight out of Krabi around 6 p.m. although I would be wary of using a low cost carrier. They can be up to four hours late. This seems to be especially the case with Air Asia.

You dont say where you are flying home to ,but I assume U.S. My wife and I are regular travellers to the Far East from the U.K. Only on our first trip many years ago did we make the return flight all in one go,and vowed NEVER AGAIN! Nowadays we allways get to Bangkok and overnight there before the long flight home. That works well for us.

Ahh, yes. What's "possible" and what's "advisable" are two different things. It is nice to have a night or two in Bangkok to finish up shopping, etc.
