Bankers and lawyers are also involved in organised crime.

Lets not use banks either.

I dont like fakes but your comments are very dramatic and over the top.

How many people did the US hurt with their illegal invasion of Iraq?

I suppose that is ok with you.

WeisserTee- sorry you feel that way, I did a search on google and came across another thread on this very forum about fake purses, so I thought it would be a good place to start.
I do plan on picking up local goods as well, as I've done before.

Copy bags in Thailand come in various categories of quality. You can pay several hundred dollars for excellent work. If you are silly enough to pay $10, then you get what you pay for! Go for excellent quality or walk away. And no, I do not buy copy bags. I have looked at them for friends.

I knew some Thai women that had fake LVs, Gucci, etc, and these bags lasted for a long time. If u take very good care of them they'll last at least 10 years. AND, they look authentic.

Fake designer stuff is available on so many corners in Vietnam. On my recent trip to Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh they were everywhere and people would approach us to by items.

Sorry, fake bags LOOK fake and cheap.

needmorevacation - We were in Vietnam in Dec. 2011. My daughter and I each bought a purse in Hanoi. You do not have to buy from someone standing on the street corner. There are a lot of stores that are nicely merchandised that are selling replicas. I still have the receipt from the purses we bought and the name of the store was Milano and address was 64 Hang Bong. It was just in the main part of Hanoi, and there were several similar type stores. I bought a "Burberry" tote for $130 and my daughter a small "Chanel" for $110. They both still look great!

Ah, such the refined ladies' man. They must fall over at the mere sight of you (and by fall over I mean run screaming).
