KL with kids

Any recommendations of nice hotels in Kuala Lumpar that will accomodate a family of four? Kids are aged 13 and 10.

Hotels in KL, like most of Asia, have a max of 3 per room, so you're talking adjoining rooms or a suite. Hotels in KL are still reasonably priced, and there are lots to choose from. What's your price range?

Thanks for this. Up to $300 AUD. Prefer cheaper if possible. Have noticed the prices seem very reasonable in KL. However, most of the websites don't seem to show whether adjoining rooms are offered.

Adjoining rooms is usually something you have to request, with no guarantee that you'll get them, although most hotels seeing people check in with kids will try to give you adjoining rooms. You may have better luck booking directly with the hotel, and many of them offer good deals for direct bookings these days.

The Mandarin-Oriental gets really good reviews here, and often has really good deals. It's part of KLCC, so your kids will always have something to do.

Other good options include the Renaissance and the Equatorial.

Thanks Michael - really appreciate the advice.

Check out the Sunway Lagoon Resort. It's not in the KL CBD though but in Petaling Jaya. It's popular with families and there's a mall next to it. I've stayed in the Sunway Villas and did enjoy my stay there.
