KL Compared to Bangkok

Having been to Bangkok and it's lovely polluted air and filthy streets. Can anyone give me the low down on KL in comparison to Bangkok and Singapore ?.
Is it as dirty as Bangkok or as clean as Singapore ?.And is KL easy to walk round, like Singapore..

KL is cleaner than Bangkok, not as clean as Singapore. KL really isn't a good walking city, except for small areas. It's not as interesting and lively a city as Bangkok.

k/l is much smaller...it can't hold a candel to bkk in any way imo...it is worth a couple of days...

Kl and sing are a bit cleaner since there is nothing much going on... think in world terms the fun exciting cities tend too be fairly grubby New york. los angales, london, Rio ... sure Peris HK and tokyo are fairly clean but thery are also are verry expensive..

your comming too third world nations what the heck do you expect.

if your looking for another clean lame place check out Brunai.

Look at it another way.I'm just back from Bangkok - my first full day there I was robbed (money, cards etc.,.)and that was from a zipped up and locked rucksack which I weas wearing at the time.
On my way home,my wife and I got food poisoning from the food on the plane so you can say my experience of Bangkok is not exactly wonderful.

Hi

I would agree with Kathie. I find Bangkok to be quite interesting compared to KL. I have posted trip reports and pictures from both cities on my homepage http://gardkarlsen.com. Maybe you can find some useful information there

I totally agree with Kathie. I find KL architectually fasinating, though, but that's about it. Happy Travels!

Sorry that you were robbed...bad experience...but that can happen anywhere. It's a good idea to hide your money/cards on you. As for the food poisoning, that can also happen anywhere, so I wouldn't throw in the towel on Bangkok. Happy Travels!

Orgy....L.A....grubby? I wouldn't put it in that category. Happy Travels!
