Ok, I will look at booking.com. What about your itinerary when you're there? I have to remove some stops and I'm trying to figure out where. There's not much on the forum about the noto peninsula but DH and I love ocean scenery.

I've not planned any further detail than what you see above, to be honest, other than that we'll get a rental car out of Kanazawa and keep that until Karuizawa at least... which will make it easier to pootle up and around that peninsula coastline.
