Katathni phuket resort or Twinpalms ?

Need advise on which resort to stay in? Katathni phuket resort in kata beach or Twinpalms in surin beach or LE meridian Karon beach? We want easy assess to a beautiful beach(we love the beach)and close proximity for walk around at night for dinner, etc. We are on our honeymoon but we are social and want a place that isn't secluded away from people. We'll probably
spend 2 days on the beach and a few other days on tours around the island. We are in our mid thirties. Help please!

IMO the nicest hotel with direct access to a semi private beach, no private beaches in Thailand, is the Amanpuri.

Katathani is on Kata Noi beach, which is just south of the actual Kata beach. The Katathani is a beautiful resort, but you would want to make the short journey to the much larger Kata beach area for shopping and nightlife, in my experience. It is a short hop, so not really much of an issue. Katathani has restaurants on site. I am not sure what lies just outside the resort as it has been a while since I was there, and they were rebuilding, post tsunami.

Le Meridian is rather isolated from restaurants and nightlife also. It has what feels like its own private beach.

Being "isolated" from noise and traffic might be good! I would choose Katathani and book a beachfront junior suite.

No experience with twin palms. If you look at a map, it doesn't look to be beachside.
