Kanchanbari - Bridge on River Kwai
 

I will be in Kanchanbari in late November 2008. Please suggest reasonably priced places to stay. I am a single male travelling alone, will be there for 2, 3 days. D.S. Sekhon.

As a separate "hint", check out when the Sound and Light show is - it was awesome!! It is sometime in November.

We stayed at the Felix River Kwai when we were there several years ago and liked it a lot. There is a good selection on Agoda.com which I have used recently for an upcoming trip to SE Asia.

cmenoni, are you referring to the Loy Krathong celebration? It's sometimes referred to as the Festival of Lights?

No, he's referring to the sound and light show put on at the bridge. It's usually a week or two after Loy Krathong.
