Kanchanaburi question

Back in 1993 I stayed overnight near Kanchanaburi (close to River Kwai) at a small hotel that had huts on the river for rooms. There was a small restaurant on the top of a small hill, and then a short walk down the bank to the river and huts.

Does anyone know off hand what hotel this was? Is there more than one in Kanchanaburi? It was an unforgettable experience and I would like to take my wife there this year.

Thanks,
Shade

Could it have been the River Kwai Resotel? Sounds like the place we stayed when we went to Thailand with OAT.

mmmh..could be resotel / River rafts, there are quite a lot these days, maybe take a look at the photos on Beachsiam and you might recognise

Click on the main 'hotels' link and then go to the Photos/Pictures pages for each one
