Is there an echo in here? |

Do I have to cancel my Sept. visit there now?? |
"Neo made an innocent observation in his original statement and you turned it into a who knows more about sushi war, geeeez lighten up."
Thank you, Hawaiiantraveler. I read my original post over and over again trying to figure out how in the world it could have been taken as some sort of "who's the biggest sushi expert?" challenge -- I certainly wasn't pretending to be, but someone else clearly seemed to want to wear that label. |
tommmo, believe it or not I did leave a reco up thread for fresh fish or different types of sushi served at the fish market at the river end of Tanukikoji shopping dori in Sapporo
Hokkaido is more famous for their varieties of kani, crab. That said probably the better place for a variety of sushi would be to hop on the train and take a short ride town to the quaint fishing village of Otaru. We did a day trip there and reported on my koyo trip report. Some wonderful sushi bars, izakayas and restaurants serving all kinds of fresh seafoods. I write about one of them in that tr http://www.japan-guide.com/e/e6700.html http://tinyurl.com/2ahf9en Aloha! |
