Excellent trip report so far. I'm eagerly awaiting the next chapter. Nice pictures. Even though you described smelling some pollution, your pictures came out amazingly clear.

May I ask what airlines you used domestically. I noticed you said expect delays, you had a 5 hour one. Other than that, were the flights ok?

Hi fellow travelers! Exciting post given we are going to Xian next week. Can any of you advise us the name of a driver who could move us around for 2 days (Apr 5-6) at reasonable rates?

That was a great report, as were all the pictures. It must have been a full time job getting it done so quickly. We are leaving a week from today for a three week trip with a group. I always promise myself that I'll do a detailed report, but I usually procrastinate so long, that I'm unable to remember all the details.
