Julie Taxi In Bangkok
 

I had remembered seeing discussion about this service in older posts. I was able to find the Website and email them. I was quoted 2000 BHT from the port (Laem Chebang) 800 BHT between Marriott on the river and the airport. This seems to be about $78.00 total USD. I did a quick Google search and it seems this is a very fair price. Should I go for it or keep looking?

That is a very fair price. Typical "limo" price is 1000-1200 baht between the Marriott and the airport.

the price from the port is also a decent price...its almost to pattaya

We used Julie's Taxi several times in the past and were always very pleased. These are good prices. Go for it.

We booked Julies Taxi last year to take us from the airport to our hotel. The price would have been very reasonable if she had showed up. We were left at the airport and after a couple of phone calls to her and a lot of wasted time we just caught a taxi. If you book her make sure you have a plan B as I have read of others who have had the same experience.

I've seen the comments about Julie not showing up, but it didn't happen to us. When we used her (about 3 years ago), she was very reliable - and delightful, too. But agree it makes sense to have a back-up plan just in case.
