You know, see that the jewelers website has a "contact me" section - I think I might email them to ask a general guesstimate price. I wouldn't want to spend a ton of money on this. I have been living with the ring this way for years- we just had our 25th anniversary :)

The only way you'll get a good price is to go there in person, ask for Lily (and whether she's there or not) tell them "Kathie from Seattle" sent you. If you don't like the price, don't have them do it.

Contacting them via email will get to a retail price, much higher than you'd pay otherwise.

Yes, just wait until you get there. Call SJ and specifically ask for Lily, then introduce yourself and that you know Kathie, tell her what you need, and have HER send a car for you.
