Meant to ask: how are you getting to Kobe?

iwe're flying into osaka, being picked up to go to kobe(meeting friends). we cancelled Hiroshima. we're going to kyoto for 2 days after a day and a half in kobe, then on to tokyo. we're not getting the JR pass. we're staying at the hotel asia center. http://asiacenter.or.jp/
seems like a great location, close to train lines, thats why i was wondering of which local tokyo pass to get.

does anyone have any experience with this hotel? any reviews?..oh, and thanks to all with you help.
