Japan for Beginners

Hi,
We are planning our first trip to Japan this September, maybe 10 days. Can anybody tell me what we MUST see? We have been to China several times so we are not new to the Far East. Thanks

Tokyo, Kyoto, Mt. Fuji........those are on the tourist circuit.
What are your interests?

Aloha!

Or to take yourself off the well beaten tourist path you can try to see a few of the 13 World Heritage sites located within this beautiful country which is a little smaller than the size of California. I have only been to seven of the sites, but I have plans to see the rest sooner and later.

hawaiiantraveler, thanks for that great link. Any experiences with onsen?

hawaiiantraveler Mar 19th, 2010 10:08 AM

Bin,
Yes I have been to many onsen. Click on my screen name and you will see a few trip reports I have done on our Japan travel over the past few years if you are interested in reading them. I have written a several reviews in them on the onsen we have visited. If you want to know any of the specifics please ask.

Aloha!
