What is it that you'd like to know about the layover?

Narita is a very nice, newer airport. You can take a shower there and sleep if you want. I usually take ANA there (A great airline).

where is best place to get japanese currency- in usa or at japan airport?

KimJapan Oct 3rd, 2007 02:05 PM

You will get a better exchange rate for yen in the airport in Japan than in the states. You can also spend dollars in Narita airport at many shops.

Hi

Are you planning to spend some time in Tokyo or are you just going to stay at the airport?

Kim is right. I recently had a layover in Narita and used US dollars. When you get to BKK you can get Baht from the atm at the airport. I find it's the best exchange rate rather than exchanging dollars at a currency exchange place. Have fun!
