JamesA, Bob, or others, I am trying to make hotel reservations in Thailand for Jan/Feb 2005. The r24.org website that JamesA has recommended seems to have great rates inclusive of tax, but are now only isting rates through Oct for most of the hotels I want. Do you have their e-mail address so I can contact an inquire about rates in Jan/Feb, or do they only get discounted rates when you actually get into the season?

Ummmm, had a look and see most have rates well into 2005, it might be that you have an old 'cache' copy of some websites on your PC, anyway try this as I just took a look and rateas well into 2005

like most hotel rate setters, they probably haven't gotten the rates yet...
by sept. they will have them--prob end of sept...
i was very happy with my experience with them...they do have a 400B processing fee which is not disclosed until the end...

Bob, I have used r24 website several times and NEVER paid any processing fee. Not sure but that amount is also the exact amount for departure tax at Samui airport. Seems weird to me!

I'm specifically looking to book the Pimilai & Royal Meridien Yacht Club, and they only have rates through end of October. So, thought if I had an e-mail address for them I'd e-mail & see if they have rates for 2005. If anyone knows how to contact r24 directly, I'd appreciate it.

i believe on the res form there is a space to put in questions or a contact me area...not really an e mail but more comments on the potential res...have you looked for that...

they seem to be a bit elusive to contact although i did telephone them while in bkk, so there must be a telephone listed on the site...how about at the very bottom??
