is there any flights into jaisalmer ? i was there a few months ago and drove from jaipur .looking for a quicker way there .it was a grueling drive .
i would be traveling from either delhi or jaipur . any ideas ??

I doesn't appear that Indian Airlines has this flight.
Have you considered the train?

There are no flights to Jailsamer since a few years ago due to border issues with Pakistan. You can take a very circuitous route by train or drive.

Did you do the "grueling drive" from Jodhpur? If so, how long did it take you? Just curious, as we are going to be experiencing this on our upcoming trip...

actually just did this trip a couple days ago. flew into jodhpur then drove to jaisalmer. drive was 4 hrs. not really grueling.

Absolutely delighted that there is still no way to get there by plane.

I you want to go then you must make an effort. And while there remains no plane there will be (let us hope) no 5 star resorts.

Long may it continue in the same way.
