I have a day with nothing really planned in chiang Mai. Also, have a day in BKK, where I can do a Klong tour, go to Jim thompson`s, and hopefully, go to SJ jewelers in the evening. Be aware that SJ closes at 18:00. We got there at about 16:45 this past trip and stayed till about 19:00 as they literally closed around us at 18:00 sharp. We had made our purchases by then and they were just writing up all our purchases. We got to see where all that jewelry goes and met the owner and her family (grandchildren, etc.) as we waited for all our paperwork to be done. So I wouldn't wait till the evening to go there.
