It's been awhile
 

Hi all, been awhile since I visited the forum. I certainly hope everyone is well! I DO plan to try to make the October GTG in Boston area, so will try to keep apprised of it.

After much thought, it looks like our next trip will be to Syria, Jordan and Egypt, with a day trip to Baalbeck in Lebanon. It should be a great trip. Of course, a lot can happen in the next 9 months before the trip!

Hi, zengoes! Your next trip sounds just wonderful. I haven't been to Syria or Lebanon, but loved Jordan (walking through the mountain to get to Petra is amazing!) and Egypt (where the monuments are really bigger than life).

Technically, Jordan and Syria are in Asia. Hope to see you in October. Welcome back. ONe need not be in the midst of planning a trip to visit here.
