Marie,<BR><BR>I'll be travelling to India for 4 weeks this winter. I am a single woman in my early thirties planning on travelling solo. Please send me a copy of your report and any advice you have. I am hoping to travel independently but I am not sure how safe that would be. Do I need to be with a tour company?

Diane,<BR><BR>My advice will be to go for a tour company in India if you have a slightly higher budget than a backpacker. The place is beautiful but more worthwhile if you do not have to spend time and energy arguing all the time with cabbies, boatmen and touts. A good driver helps.<BR><BR>Cheers!<BR><BR>Robin<BR>
