I was wondering which booking site you were using as the price seems quite high. You might want to check one of the local discount booking sites like www.sawasdee.com though I don't know if they can get you a 3 bedroom apartment. It may be worthwhile to contact Emporium directly and ask them if they can do better on price.

Emporium is in the midst of the shopping area. I've looked at a number of serviced apartments, and it's the best I've seen. It does have a nice pool, the rooms are very pleasant. Having a huge shopping center in the same complex is very convenient. There is a wonderful gourment grocery in the bottom of the complex for times when you want to eat in.

For that you may need to contact hotels directly. Do you have points with any of the major chains? Starwood, Marriott, Hyatt?
Emporium Suites is really lovely. I think you would be as happy there as at a full service hotel, as they offer full service as well.

We stayed at the Renaissance Riverside Hotel in Saigon. We were able to get two connecting rooms. They might have three rooms that connect. It was a great hotel, well located and an amazing breakfast buffet.

I'm still here, we have decided to no visit Bangkok. I'm trying to decide if we should stay in Vietnam including the South with Phu Quoc Island or replace the south with Luang Prabang? Is Phu Quoc Island worth the time?
