We went to the circus in Battambang, supposedly the first performance by these artists. It was great fun, they only stuffed up once on a complicated tumble. I haven't been to the one in SR to compare.

There's a trip report on here somewhere with more details of our time in Cambodia. There's one on Vietnam too, just click on my name.

You were badly informed.....that flat-bed shifts at a rate of knots, human pedal power it definitely ain't.

Just speaking figuratively. I'd seen the setup in travel videos. Just wasn't a draw for us.

Actually never saw a tuk tuk when we were there in Battambang. Just offers of back seats on motos, which worked out fine too. But glad you can travel around town together now!

I should clarify that we enjoyed the temples too... though in reverse order, the impression was a bit dulled down from the Angkor effect. We did actually enjoy the town though, just more for the people more than sightseeing.

Thanks Sartoric (I'll look up your reports on Cambodia) and counterclifton.

As always you start out with a query and end up with more questions that you started with!!
