Interesting Self-Guided Foodie Walking Tour in Bangkok

Today I saw this link on the chowhound.com message boards.

http://importfood.com/saochingcha_guide.html

It's a really interesting walking tour of street vendors and restaurants in the area around Chote Chitr. There's even a hand-drawn map with all the locations clearly marked.
If you click on the individual shop names there are even more details and photos.
I thought this might be interesting for anyone into food (like me!).

Thanks Kristina, I hope to be able to visit this area when in Bangkok in January. I have very limited free time. Do you think I should see this area or do the bicycle trip offered by realasia.net? I may not have time for both.

I had wondered where Co's tour (Amazing Bangkok Cyclist) went. glad to see he's still doing this through realasia..

I went on this with husband and two teens, and one of them went again on another visit.

Highly recommended!

The food tour looks like fun too.

Lynnie-
I don't know about the bicycle trip as I've never done it, though I know others here have. Personally, I can't imagine riding a bicycle in the heat and humidity.
I think if you were already planning to visit the area, or one of those restaurants, then doing this walking tour or part of it might be fun. However, if it's your first time in BKK, and your time is limited, then you may want to do something else.

Guenmai-I think I'll be there before you and if we go, I'll report back!
