India via Singapore

We are flying on Singapore Airlines to Delhi and have 6 hours layover during the day in Singapore. Anyone know if we can leave the airport and, if so, would it be possible to hire a quick city tour?

You can sign up for a **free** city tour at the airport.

Oh, you're kidding. Wow. By "free" do you know how much "free" is?

No, it really is free! You could also just take a taxi somewhere if you knew where you wanted to go. But they really do have free city tours. They hope you will want to come back to Singapore.

Yes, if you have more than 5 hours in layover time, you can get a free Singapore tour. You register at the Singapore Visitor's Centre located in the transit Mall. Hope this has helped. Happy travels!

There is also a nice outdoor pool and bar. If you're completely wiped out and don't care to do the tour there are also hotels inside the terminals. I think the rates were under $50 a couple of years ago. Really helps when you're on a 30+ hour marathon flight to India.
