Thanks for sharing the amazing photographs and the history of the British Raj.
India has been independent since 1947, but even today, the school system set up by the missionaries are educating the children. English is widely spoken and thus is a huge benefit for the global economy.
The architecture left behind by the British is indeed very historical and still is a huge tourist attraction for all.
Glad that you enjoyed the sights and sounds of India.
"Incredible India" is the perfect slogan.
