India - Malaria?
 

Can you get anti-malaria tablets at the pharmacy in India? If yes - any idea on price?

I'm not sure but be aware that some of them need to be started B4 you go if that issue is of concern.

OK - not for me I already have some to start a week before we go.

My aunt on the other had has been advised to take a new product starting 2 days B4 but they are quite expensive so she is thinking of buying when we get there.

If you aunt has been prescribed malarone, it is NOT available in India. (which is what it sounds like from your description)
