Thai Air Biz Class Seats

We will be using UA ff miles to fly to BKK. Of the Thai Air planes are any better for biz class seating? Any that i should avoid? What I see offered are the following 380-800, 340-600, 747, Airbus A330. I'm also keeping an eye out to fly first, but with the saver fares. What is the best for first class seating? thanks!

Go for the Thai A380-800s as they have the latest lie flat seats for both business class and first class. Brand new planes, only a few months old!

Definitely the A380! We flew on this plane from BKK to FRA in first class. One of the nicest flights ever.

Hi! We flew it first class last year Rome to BKK. It was fabulous. We had the entire cabin to ourselves! Didn't check out the biz class though. Will look for that type of equipment when we book.

If you find a 747 in first class then you would prefer the one with 9 seats. Seatguru shows 10 seats in that config, but I think it is 9. Anyway, you want the one that has the single seats on the side.

Thai has a new configuration with more privacy on the 747 but don't know how to tell whether a 747 is this new config or old config.
