* Go up The Peak on the tram, especially at dusk.

* Go to Stanley for the markets and a great bus ride around the Southern side of Hong Kong Island - sit at the front right hand side upstairs (if you dare!).

* Meander your way up the mid-level escalators.

* Do one or more of the walking tours in the Hong Kong Tourist Board brochure - you should be able to get one at your hotel - there is a whole booklet on walks. We did one thru all the markets on the Kowloon side.

* Take a boat trip to one of the other islands.

* Go to Aberdeen and take a sampan ride around the boat harbour.

Enjoy!

Elaborating on Jesters recos. Get to The Peak MAcDonell Road tram boarding stop. If u are in Kowloon take the Star Ferry across then a taxi. If you are on the island side then nearest MTR stop is Admiralty then taxi. Take the tram up to the Peak, take the walk arounbd Lugard Road (approx 1 hour), wander around the Peak Galleria, have a meal or cup of coffee at The Peak Lookout. This is half a day.

Stanley. Reach Central. From there take the bus number 6 double decker to Stanley. Wander around Stanley Plaza. Sit at one of the restaurants on the Promenade for a leisurely meal.

Hi

My wife and I spent 4 days in Hong Kong in march last year. I have posted a trip report with some pictures on my homepage http://gardkarlsen.com. Maybe you can find some useful information there :-)

Take the tram across Hong Kong island...Go to the top of the tram. Its inexpensive and you get a birds eye view of all the goings around you. Ypu can spend hours doing it.Jjester's advice is great too.
