I really don't understand why people would want to use a fish spa, putting your feet in water where others people feet have been nibbled... Yuk!

I don't fancy that either, Smeagol, but obviously lots of people do. To each his own.

I went to The International Puppet Festival tonight in Chiang Mai. Really great. Going back tomorrow.

I tried the fish spa, but yah, kinda gross.

Is the Puppet Festival a once-a-year event?

Yes, they do the Puppet Festival every year at this time at Chiang Mai University. Entrance is off Niemmanhamen--very convenient to where I am staying. Details are on the blog so I don't have to repeat myself:

Look for posts about the puppets Dec. 12-14, 2014, if you don't want to read everything.

Had a go in Siam Oceanworld in Bangkok. It was included in the ticket price, and I like to get vfm. Quite enjoyed it.

Went past a spa in Siem Reap last year, and all the fish were dead!

Interesting article here...

That article is apparently blocked in Thailand. I will have to take a look when I return to the US. In any event, fish eating dead skin off my feet is not my thing. Thai massages though are very nice. I am sure to have another before I leave for home. It's on my list.
