Hua Hin Property Centre

Hi everyone,

Normally I'm in Thailand this time of year, but am planning to go for the first time in the winter (Jan thru April '08) so have to stay home and save money :-(

I'm enjoying reading everyone's posts lucky enough to be over there though!

Has anyone done business or know anything about the Hua Hin Proprty Centre? I am thinking of renting a condo in Hua Hin for a month while I'm over there this winter and am wondering if they are a reputable business.

Any thoughts are appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Sorry can't help with individual companies, the only input I can give is that there were certainly more Real Estate places advertising houses, condos etc than ever before. Getting close to outnumbering the tailor shops ! I think sea view condos could be quite expensive, more expensive than say Jomtien area.
A lot of people who own condos whether Hua Hin, Cha Am or this side of the Gulf tend to stay in them high season and then rent them out low season, so if you can get an offer on one high season then that is lucky.
There are certain popular condo buildings, did they offer a specific named place, I might know the condo building.

There are also serviced vacation cottages / bungalows that do weekly/monthly you can rent down there too if you didn't want a condo. But Jan to April would be peak season pricewise. I have passed quite a few of the condos so if they have quoted a named place I might be able to remember, we also hope to get down for the jazz festival this w/end, i don't mind having a look if you have a condo name.

JamesA,

Thanks for the reply - sorry I didn't get back to you before the HH Jazz - hope you enjoyed it, I always did!

The condo is at the Blue Lagoon (part of the Sheraton complex). I saw this last year during construction and it looked quite nice. I've downloaded their brochure and it was nice as well. Once I pin down my dates, I am going to contact the HH Property Centre and they will check with the owner to see if its available. I hope the owner bought the place for weekend visits and won't mind renting it out for a month say in March. We'll see.

Thanks again for your comments!

I don't know how it affects the Blue lagoon Condos but the opening of the Sheraton has been delayed, I think it's mid August now.
The Jazz festival was great, we went the day before and return the day after to avoid the traffic. Packed as always, not as many stages as before, but great fun, well organised, and being HH quite tame, everyone easy going enjoying the music, sound system was was better ( no easy task when doing live music on an open beach ! )

Wow, the Jazz fest sounded great! I read that they only had the main beach stage this time, I thought that was a good idea as it was the best location for the venue. People watching was always fun at the Jazz fest too - especially watching the hi-so's from bangkok ;-)

The Blue Lagoon is actually complete and open - evidently it was completed first and now they are finishing up the Sheraton (with many delays of course).

Yup, just the one this time. Sheraton delays just like the Hyatt, I think that took years of delays before getting finished.
