p.s. the travel adventure in India (post-Vietnam) is a bit more of a story. Will try to fill it in one day.

As a follow up - the company's CEO is pleading with me to be their US representative. I barely know the country or their tour packages - and am hesitant. Guess s/he just wants an American voice/face as a point of contact. Anyone tried this?

I'd say never travel with a company who has US or Canadian or European reps who "barely know the country or their tour packages."

It is odd. I've said no politely once - with a repeated plea response. I'd hate to get a call from Vietnam in the middle of one's tour gone bad (not that it would necessarily - we enjoyed the tour a lot). I'd like to see the company continue - just not sure I want to be a part of it!
