How to reach Tong

We thought it would be great to spend a day in BKK with a guide like Tong. We already have plans to see the Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaeo, Ayutthaya, & Bang Pa In. Would she be good to show us other things or can we see everything else by ourselves? We never have a problem being on our own, but since the culture and language are so foreign......

She books up early.

How many days will you be in BKK?

We aren't going for our first time until March, but I have done a lot of research...

that should be "dot com"

We'll be there two days at the beginning of our trip. That's when I hve those tours planned, and then another 4 full days at the end of the trip departing on the 5th day.

Tong tends to get booked up early, so it would be fortunate, indeed, for you to find she has a free day while you are in Bangkok. It's always worth a try!

All the things you list in your original posts are easy to do on your own, or to Ayutthaya and Bang Pa In, with a tour taking a boat one way, driving the other.

Tong also has a passion for her culture and history and as a result doesn't cut any corners, so allow plenty of time. We asked her to do Grand Palace and Vinamak in 6 hours and she nearly died, apparently she normally spends that amount of time at each! Needless to say the 2 days we had set aside for BKK were no-where near enough...

Cheers,
