How to get to Wat Po
 

We are arriving into BKK airport 12:30 and are staying on Sukhumvit.<BR>After hotel check in we would like to go to Wat Po for a massage - sounds good after 14 hours flying!<BR><BR>What is best way to get there and will we have time - have seen conflicting closing times both 5pm and 6pm?<BR><BR>many thanks

I recommend you just hop in a taxi - they're really not that expensive and then you won't waste too much time faffing about. <BR><BR>Sorry, can't help you with opening times - I've only been in the mornings!

You could take the Skytrain to Taksin and then a express river ferry to the Grand Palace and walk from there. If you just want a massage, you can probably get one at or near your hotel. A taxi might take an hour, depending on traffic.

I'd also take the SkyTrain to Taksin, and catch the River Express boat from there.
