How to get to Hau Hin
I should be flying in to BKK airport and want to find my way down to Hau Hin. From what I have read, I want to take a first class bus there. I am not sure on where to catch the bus at, or the best way to get there.
thanks jk

From Bangkok Airport to Hua Hin your options are:
Taxi : Approx B 1,600-1,700 takes 2.5 to 3 hrs ( small sedan cars, Toyota Corolla etc )
Limo: Approx B 2,850 takes 2.5 to 3 hrs ( Large sedans usually Volvos, Mercs or Toyota Carina etc )
Flight: Approx B 3,200 takes 35 minutes, 4 flights per day ( SGA Aeo www.sga.aero )
Buses: You would need to use a taxi or whatever to get to the southern bus terminal, journey from Southern Bus terminal to Hua hin about 3 hrs 20, costs about B 180 a/con bus.
If there is more than 1 of you and after a long haul I would take taxi/limo

Bangkok Airways stopt their flights, now SGA Aero has started up since beginning of November with 4 flights a day BKK to Hua Hin. In the meantime the airport was still always open as it also handles quite a lot of Exec jet flights.

we took aac limo down to HH for about $65...we took a sharred van back for about $28---for two people...
there is also train service...
a taxi would be less than $65..
if you have been flying any distance i do not think you would want to hop on a bus or train however....

Yup it is a strange website address, don't put any .com or anything, just:
www.sga.aero
Website gives little information, I would always say the limo gives the best, you save a bit on the taxi but if you are arriving at BKK Airport after a long flight I think it's worth the extra for comfort, the Limo office is 24/7, no need for advance booking, just go to the Limo counter after baggage claim. Returning 'from' Hua Hin back to BKK there are good size (large sedans and station wagons ) that charge about B 1,600 ( USD 40 ) for the trip, you find them parked near Satukharn Square opposite the temple and along the main road opposite Swensons/Starbucks.
