Ok, just checked and DAN membership seems not to include the evac. And their travel insurance plans include way more than we need (most things can be avoided or are included in other "regular" insurance policies). Still hunting for that standalone evac insurance plan!.....

Wait ... I just looked closer and it IS still in there. I'll have to read the fine print to see if it's really suitable (but I think it will be).

As Kathie mentioned, DAN only provides evacuation to the nearest medical facility, it won't get you home. (I know because I called and asked them.) After I broke my wrist in Switzerland I got myself to the hospital but my insurance got me home. I was using http://travelersemergencynetwork.com

Yea ... DAN will work. Thanks again! (Nearest appropriate facility really is quite sufficient.)
