How Much time needed at Suvarnabhumi Airport

We leave on a Thai Airways flight at 10:10 am on a Thursday for the first leg of our international flight to the US. What time do we need to be at the airport? We're in Biz class if that makes any difference. Thanks!

You should be fine with 90 minutes. Be sure to ask for Fast Trak through immigration if the agent at the check-in desk forgets to give it to you. Last time I came through I had to ask for the fast trak paper and the agent had run out. She went to get more of them, as the flight still had more folks to check in. This was on UA, also biz class. Also, the Thai lounge is a nice place to relax and spend time before you have to board your flight.

Ninety minutes it is, thanks. Simpson, thanks for mentioning the fast track. I didn't know about the fast track and will definitely get it.

Next question is how long to get to the airport if we want to be there by 8:45 am? Leaving from the wrong side of the river, I know. We will be leaving from the Peninsula.

I would arrive at least 2 hours before departure. If you finished everything early, check-in, passport control etc, you can relax in the lounge before your flight.

For the cab ride, 45mins-an hour is enough.

thanks all! Taxi to airport took just under an hour. Thai air check in took five minutes and we breezed through immigration . Didn't need to ask for Fast track as it is at Thai Air check in. So the total time from the Peninsula to sitting in the lounge at the airport= ~75 minute.
