How many posts?

I was thinking about how much time I've spent on the Fodor's board in the past year or so and how much I've enjoyed it. And I was suddenly curious as to how many posts I'd submitted... so I checked! :-)
Good grief, I've been even more prolific than I realized: 475.
What about you? How many have some of you posted? I bet my 475 is way low compared to some of you long-time regulars!

althom1122 Sep 19th, 2006 04:47 PM

Make that 476.

Kathie Sep 19th, 2006 05:18 PM

Karen, how do you check? I almost hesitate to ask how many posts I've had over the years!

rhkkmk Sep 19th, 2006 06:50 PM

yea, how do you check...??

bob

kathie beats me i am sure and hers are better written , but james must beat us all

eurotraveller Sep 19th, 2006 07:20 PM

601 for me.

Kathie and Bob, just click on your name and scroll through your posts to the end. Maybe Carol has a quicker way but that is what I did.

Cheers!

rhkkmk Sep 19th, 2006 08:27 PM

ok...i did it the long way...my first post as rhkkmk was on jan 27, 2003 and since then i have posted on 5710 different threads...pathetic...

i used another name for a couple of months before that i believe...

althom1122 Sep 20th, 2006 02:30 AM

Yes, I meant threads I've posted in vice individual posts, so I just clicked on my name and went to the end of the list of threads and the count came to 475 (but, yes, I had to go through them 50 at a time - don't know a way to jump to the end).
5710, Bob? Wow!
I knew my 475 was measly, but it still sounded like a lot! :-)

I have been posting on Fodors (mostly on the Asia board) since my first Thailand trip in 2000.

Mandatory registration on Fodors went into effect in late January 2003. You can only bring up your posts on threads going back to that time. I counted 1382 posts under my screen name (now 1383) - I figure thats about one per day for the past 3-1/2 years...

cruisinred Sep 20th, 2006 05:06 AM

Apparently I have been a proud member of the Fodors board since Feb 22, 2004, with 585 posts.

Kathie Sep 20th, 2006 06:02 AM

Well, that's a pain to scroll through all of those posts. I don't hold a candle to Bob: a mere 3380 threads since registration in January, 2003. I had already been posting for a few years here, so who knows how much time I've spent on this board!

carylspall Sep 20th, 2006 06:49 AM

It's people like you who make this board so successful! Keep up the good work!

offwego Sep 20th, 2006 10:58 AM

a paltry 358 since May 05

probably 300 of them on company time...I should be ashamed.

good thing they don't count all the lurking I do.....

At the Honolulu GTG last month MelissaHI had nametags for each of us with the number of threads we posted to. I was highest of the bunch. Now I don't feel so bad after seeing Bob's total, and I'll probably never catch Kathie. I was on this forum for only about a month before registration.

This is thread number 2491 for me Thanks Jed.

A mere 1021 posts. That means that Bob is 5 times as big a loser/know-it-all as I. Beth will be so relieved to hear about how mild an obsession I possess.

althom1122 Sep 20th, 2006 03:46 PM

I think at least HALF of my posts were questions on every detail I could think of in planning for my trip with my daughter! I'm trying to pay back all that wonderful advice by chiming in with my own thoughts/perspectives. Funny how I suddenly became an "expert" after one trip. (NOT! But not being an expert has never kept me from speaking up!)
:-)

althom1122 Sep 20th, 2006 03:47 PM

And that's funny about the Europe board posting along the same lines. I sometimes read that board, but hadn't seen that thread.

rhkkmk Sep 20th, 2006 06:16 PM

kathie---but yours were all well written and well thought out and had no spelling errors...

Kathie Sep 20th, 2006 06:45 PM

Thank you, Bob.

But no spelling errors?? lol! My typing is truly awful. I'm always typing teh rather than the because I can think faster than I can type... (thank goodness).

rhkkmk Sep 20th, 2006 08:13 PM

me too...
