How many pics needed for visa and temple pass

How many passport sized photos do we need for the visa and temple pass? Alternatively, for an e-visa, how do you save a photo to the pixel size that they recommend?

You need one photo for a temples pass. Take two photos for your visa, sometimes they ask for one, sometimes for two. If you are going to Laos as well, you'll need another two photos for your visa.

I took pictures of my wife and myself, separately, against a white wall, with a digital camera. Downloaded into Picasa, then printed a few pictures to get right size where the head was about 1by2 inches, or whatever they said. Then cut out the head shot. I don't think you have to worry about the pixels. You just need a reasonable picture of yourselves. ((*))

Dumb question of me:
WHERE is one required to have a photograph for a temple pass?

althom1122 Dec 13th, 2006 05:25 PM

Photo required for the 3-day temple pass at the Angkor Wat complex in Siem Reap (and presumably for the 5-day pass also).

Kathie Dec 13th, 2006 05:46 PM

There are one day, three day and 7 day passes to the Angkor temples. It is my understanding that only the three day and seven day passes require a photo.

I can confim that Kathie. No photo required for the one day pass.

Glad that I asked about the temple pass, we will vist Angkor next month and will most likely purchace the three day pass. This is the first time that I have heard it requires a photo. This is good information (along with tons of other on this site). Thanks!

They only wanted one photo of me for the visa. For the 3-day pass I had my photo taken at the entrance at the time that I bought the pass (quick, simple, maybe cost $1)

It may well have been stated on this site before but worth repeating. You MUST remember photos for Cambodia visa.If you dont have any they will charge $20 to take yor photo. At least that was the case in 2004.
