How long to spend in jakarta and bali?
 

Do you think i should stay in bali for 8 nights and jakarta for 3 nights or 7 and 4?
I have it booked 6 nights bali and 5 nights in jakarta but ive been told thats theres not much in jakarta.
I booked at the start as i thought was great nightlife and good city but i cant decide and everyone seems to love bali so much. Thanks

short time in J and longer in bali....way more for tourists to do in bali and more relaxed

Charlie, I'm not in bar hopping demographic so this is hearsay only, but I'd say that Bali and Jakarta attract different crowds. In Bali the patrons are tourists of all ages, all sexes :), who tend to interact with each other.

In Jakarta the customers are mostly young and wannabe young Western expats, almost all male who are there to interact with the local women.

Bars and clubs in Jakarta are lively and crowded. They range from the upscale -- like BATS, Dragonfly, Buddha Bar -- to the decidedly downscale like the most of the venues on Jalan Palatehan and Blok M.

So I guess it depends on what you're looking for.

Well im not a sex tourist or anything..well i hope not..haha but i am a young irish fella so i love to party all night and pick up girls...aw i can't decide now..the devil on my right shoulder is saying go on charlie go BATS in BATS and the angel on my left is saying charlie think of your health...stay in bali and hit the waves...haha i think i might change it to 7 nights in bali and 4 in jakarta..il be there thurs-sunday so it'l be busy and all then wont it..:)
