How about situation in Bangkok???
We want to spend a few days in Bangkok. Is it safe now or it does not matter for tourists, does it?
|
All is calm now and even if things heats up it will not affect the tourists.

I agree... the situation should not be of any concern to tourists, as they would not be anywhere near the problem area. With that in mind, who is now in charge? Have the protesters left the gov't building? Brad is in BKK right now but he's not really saying anything about the political situation in his emails. Just curious... Carol |
Hi Carol,
Thaksin's brother in law is still the PM of Thailand and the protesters still occupy the government house. We, my friends and I, believe that the situation could escalate again after the middle of next month when the royal funeral rites for the King's sister will be held. Brad is in Bangkok? Can you email me Brad's phone number in Thailand? [email protected] |
Can do, pook. The number is at the store... I'll be there in about 20 minutes. Hope you two will get together sometime. He's there until Nov 3. (gotta come home for the election...)
