hotels in Beijing, China

I'm looking for a Beijing hotel that is not a corporate owned. And I'd like it to have a shuttle or easy to get to from the airport, and fairly close to the train station or within a close taxi drive to both the airport and train station. And I'd like to rent a place for 3 nights within shopping district. This is a lot I know, but maybe someone has an idea for me.

Yes this is a lot to ask. Which train station? There are several.

Difficult to define in China, but note that few if any hotel management companies with whose names you are familiar actually own the properties they manage. They merely have management contracts.

If you're actually looking for four- and five-star service you are much more likely to get it in one of those managed by a familiar name (or a non-Chinese Asian luxury brand not familiar to you).

Which airport? Beijing Capital is well to the northeast, and Beijing Daxing a good 60km to the south.

Beijing South, Beijing West, or just Beijing? There are others, but probably it will be one of these three, depending on where you're planning to go. They're quite far from each other.

.

See above, although neither of the airports is close to any of the stations mentioned.

Shopping's everywhere in Beijing, but there are plenty of decent hotels around Wangfujing, Xi Dan, and Beijing's major shopping malls. It all depends on what you think you'll be shopping for.

Not without you first doing a lot more reading yourself, I fear, and then being more precise.

Thank you for the ideas.
