Hotel near airport in HCMC
 

We have an early morning flight out of HCMC to Hong Kong so are interested in finding something close to the airport, preferably with transport service. Any thoughts? The options on Agoda seem to be in the $80-100 range and the $10-15 range with not much in between. Thanks for any suggestions.

It only takes 15 minutes to get to the airport at 4:30am. Unless your not able to spend anytime enjoying D1, I wouldn't bother staying near the airport. No real advantage.

It's not, but in town is still better!

Thanks, we'll stick with D1 then since that seems to be the place to stay.

We stayed at the Liberty Central next to Ben Thanh market - the airport is only 7 km or so from there

Ho Chi Minh airport is quite near the city. It takes between 30-45 mins depending on the traffic. There are always taxis available all day. So it's not any problem to take a taxi even early in the morning. Or in any case, you can tell the hotel receptionist to book you one.

these are my suggestion for hotel that closed to Saigon airport:
Park view hotel, Movenpick, Star city. These are just 5ms from. the airport and located on the same street Nguyen Van Troi.
