hotel in Krabi near the ferry pier?
 

Looking for hotel suggestions near the ferry pier. My flight is arriving too late for the last ferry to Koh Phi Phi so I'll need to overnight in Krabi.

The Meritime is 'the' decent hotel in Krabi town but personally I would head to Ao Nang for the evening. Just to let you know you can easily to get to Phi Phi from Phuket too which has about 18-20 flights per day from BKK as opposed to Krabi's 5-6 flights. Just a thought.

Check the Meritime on that same link I gave you on your other message. It is 'in town' near the piers but if you just want an easy overnight it's the best in town.

If you want an inexpensive inner city hotel, The City Hotel is only a couple of blocks away from the pier. It's also across the street from Krabi's night market which would make for some interesting diversion for your overnight stay.

Any suggestion on a nice hotel with a nice beach in the range of US$100 or less. What would be the cost for a day snorkelling trip and which islands would be best - Poda? Thanks in advance for any info provided.

Sorry, would like to have easy access to restaurants or local shops for dinner. Thanks.
