Hotel in Hanoi
Has anyone stayed in this hotel in Hanoi-De Syloia Hotel?
|
yes! i was there abt 3 yrs ago and, since i was living in hcmc at the time, that hotel was an absolute haven. it's a boutique business hotel, quiet and stylish, w/ beautiful but smallish rooms, a complimentary english-lang paper and chocolates on the pillow. on tran hung dao street, if i recall, which is an old french-style avenue lined w/ trees, a quieter part of town than near hoan kiem lake but still pretty central. definitely recommend it.

Hi! We found the Galaxy Hotel, right next to the Old Quarter, to be excellent. If your hotel can't accommodate you, try the Galaxy. Hi, Mari!

Hi Mary Ann and Al, <BR>How did you book for the hotels in Hanoi. Did you call from the states before you got there? I am taking my Dad to Hanoi. We are Vietnamese expat. Our last trip there was 4 years ago. It was a hassle for us to decide which hotels and depended on the taxi drivers to take us there. It wasn't always the best. Please give me more info on how to book a room at Galaxy Hotel. Thanks

We were on a tour so did not do the booking at the Galaxy Hotel ourselves. Have you checked to see if they have a web site? They had internet service there; we used it to contact our home in the USA.

I was curious and found that my search engine was very helpful. Put in asia-hotels.com and click on Galaxy Hotel. Should solve your problem. Alternatively, simply type in Galaxy Hotel Hanoi and choose from the list of leads shown by your search engine.
