Hotel Choice Kuala Lumpur
Does any one have suggestion among
The Majestic JW Marriott LL Taraders Hotel |
I would go for Traders. In KLCC it's a nice hotel that has great views of the Petronas Towers - as for a room with that view.
JW is also a nice property in Bintang Walk, close to Major shopping centres. |
I second Crellston's suggestion on the Traders. It's also close to transportation options.
|
I can't remember where Traders is located, but the JW Marriott on Bintang Walk is an ideal location. Or stay at the Ritz Carlton right next door.
|
Kathie, Traders is directly opposite Suria KLCC and the Petronas Twin Towers. The two hotel are perhaps a 20-30 minute walk apart.

Thanks, trip planer!
|
thank you

I got great deal on JW Marriott and my sister wants to shop so that nailed it. Thanks for advice. No one seemed to consider Majestic which is near park area and looks beautiful but 15 minutes away via metro from many activities
|
Oh I went to the JW it looked fabulous and yes next to some great shopping...

Even if you stay at the Marriott it is worth the walk to Traders for evening cocktails at sundown. The bar at the top overlooks the Petronas Towers which are magnificent when lit up at night. We went there with internetwhizz, another Fodors poster last year (they were staying at the Marriott). There is a walkway all the way between the two hotels.
Some more info and a photo of the view from Traders on our blog @ https://accidentalnomads.com/category/malaysia/ KL is the last entry. We visted Traders on "ladies night" free cocktails for all ladies - I think it is on Wednesdays |
