Almost all of these posts are exactly what I was hoping to generate here on Fodors - an awareness of how we are in fact the demand for these atrocities - through our tourist dollars.

And I agree with khunwilko about being curious about rhkmkk's post about no apologies. I don't think anyone owes anyone an apology - except maybe the monks and thugs of the Temple....

Yes you are correct. I recall that and even chimed in on that thread (or one during a similar time period) and was absolutely slammed by Fodorites. It was very disillusioning to see how many people were so vitriolic in their support for such an abusive place....
